Gate City Gardening is thrilled to have guest speaker James Hasspacher hosting an introduction to log inoculation workshop.
Two varieties will be available to choose from: shitake or lions mane. James will demonstrate the proper way to drill, insert mushroom plugs, and properly coat them with wax. He will also explain when, where, and how to properly prep the log for mushroom production outdoors.
Each participant will get to join in and create their own log.
